Carnevale, periodo di festa e di rinnovamento, in cui regnano l'allegria e lo scherzo, in cui, anche se solo temporaneamente, si buttano all'aria gli obblighi sociali e le gerarchie e il caos sostituisce order. E 'excesses of the last day before Lent is the period of fasting, purification, meditation, renewal - not heard from me in the religious sense, but simply following the rhythms and steps of the awakening of nature and its power to renewal.
